Begins with a helicopter crash and a mysterious package and ends in a shocking twist. Elizabeth Goddard’s Present Danger is the first book of her new series Rocky Mountain Courage. She has filled it with archaeological artifacts, dead bodies and secrets – nothing is as expected.  The Montana forest setting adds to the mystery of the storyline. The ancient artifacts which play a major role are intriguing and make you want to learn more. The characters are easy to like and develop well throughout the pages. If you have read any of her previous series, you will recognize some secondary characters that are brought into the scenes. If you are looking for a true who-dun-it mystery, then add this to your tbr list. It is a fast read that will keep you guessing until the very end.
